SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Fabrianna Dixon's lay-up with 2.6 seconds remaining was the difference in Dallas Adams 65-64 win against Cedar Park Vista Ridge in a Girls Class 5A semifinal game in the Alamodome.
Vista Ridge (36-3) had taken the lead with 11.5 seconds on a layup by Japreece Dean, but Dixon was able to complete the basket in traffic. Vista Ridge called a timeout and ran a final play, but the inbound pass didn't connect.
Dallas Adams (30-4) will play for its first title against at 3 p.m. Saturday against Canyon.
Dixon led Dallas Adams with 18 points. Alexus Gilbert added 14 points and Dabrasia Baty had 13.
Mikayla Christian had a game-high 23 points for Cedar Park Vista Ridge and Danielle Rainey had 14 in the loss.
